TeKnol at MAKS-2011
The International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2011 is the third MAKS where TeKnol exhibited its products. It is a good company tradition to present some new product at each exhibition. The TeKnol news for this MAKS were CompaNav-2M navigation system and MEMS AHRS CompaNav-4.
CompaNav-2M is a renewed CompaNav-2 navigation system, which was the key company product since 2006. The new system boasts built in GPS/GLONASS receiver and optional RS-422 data output. The system is designed for both land and aerial applications and at the moment the system is used at a complex proceudre of a marine vehicle perfromance trial. CompaNav-4 is an autonomous MEMS attiutde and heading reference system (AHRS) based on newest high-perfromance MEMS sensors. The system provides attitude determination with 0.1 deg attiutde accuracy, which is comparable to AHRSs based on fiber optic gyros.
Though this year our booth was located in some hard-to-find place, many visitors came to see our navigation systems in run and to assess systems' performance. The Portable Glass Cockpit System also attracted attention of many specialists involved in helicopter operation and helicopter owners ineterested in their rotor-wing aircrfat retrofit.
We would like to thank all the guests of our booth for the attention to our company and interest to our products! We hope to see you as our good partners and welcome you to our booth at the next exhibitions!
