CompaNav-5. "Medium" accuracy MEMS navigation system
CompaNav-5 is a uniqe navigation system. It is based on MEMS sensors, but its performance characteristics are comparable with "medium" accuracy navigation systems based on FOG or laser sensors. CompaNav-5 is a first MEMS system, which entered "medium" accuracy grade.
Navigation solution is free from time lags and is GNSS loss tolerant. Optimal conditions for inertial sensor operation are guaranteed by thermal stabilization of the navigation system unit. To enhance inertial positioning accuracy, CompaNav-5 can acquire data from Air Data System and use at as reference during long-term GNSS outages.
